∙ 12y agoBoth Danzo and Kakashi were canidates of Sixth Hokage but they were not offical. That means there isn't any Sixth Hokage. 5th Hokage (Tsunade) has woken up from coma and still the acting hokage of leaf village.

Danzo became the 6th Hokage for the meantime but because of the Kage Summit incident, the other Kages didn't accept Danzo as a Hokage instead they decided that Kakashi will represent Konoha. Kakashi almost become the 6th Hokage but Tsunade woke up.
There isn't any official 6th hokage. Fifth Hokage(Tsunade) is still alive.

∙ 12y agoWrong! Danzo is dead( Killed by Sauske) and as far As the manga goes Tsunade is still the hokage and if would come down on who will surpass her it would most likely be Naruto since he is now able to control the Fox Demons power.
Actually, it will be Kakashi. Although Naruto is technically stronger than Kakashi, the jonin of the leaf village have a hokage election, and the Fire Lord also has his say. Thus, they will not bother nominating Naruto; they will instantly pick Kakashi.

Actually if you read the manga you'll find out that Danzo is gonna be the 6th Hokage.
Well these people are wrong, Kakashi Hatake is the 6th
Kakashi's not the Hokage. I love Kakashi and stuff but he's not going to be. Rumour has it that he died in episode 180 in Shippuden, by pain or something, but I think pain brings him back to life. A Wiki thing on Gaara, said that Gaara has to go to a meeting with the Kages to stop Danzo (the 6th Hokage) from doing something.
The only person that is going to be the 6th Hokage is Naruto, probably at the end of the series, but other wise only Tsunade is Hokage, who is alive, anyone that has been up to date can see this is true, but right now in the manga they are all at war so this will take time to answer.(And don't believe about the Rumors, because it isn't true)

∙ 14y agoDanzo is the 6th hokage. after naruto gets back from his little talk with nagato, the fire lord names Danzo the 6th hokage because people are saying Tsunade is dead and the village needs a new Hokage if she is dead. Even though tons of villagers say it should be Naruto, Danzo was there with the fire lord.

Danzo is appointed Candidate 6th Hokage by the Konoha Council during Tsunade's coma, but as Kakashi said, once this happens, they must be accepted as Hokage by the Jonin of the village before their place in the position becomes official, and Danzo dies before this can take place. However, Tsunade awakens from her coma before there is the need to find another candidate for Hokage, so she will continue on in that role. As such, any talk about the future 6th Hokage is merely speculation at this point, but dependent on future occurrences, both Kakashi and Naruto could potentially be likely candidates for being the 6th Hokage.
