Where do you catch Hoppip on Pokemon Emerald?

You can go to route 205 and use a pokeradar. [the pokeradar can only be obtained after you beat the elite four] And step into the ones that sparkle and in a few minutes you'll find a hopipp!

I don't mean to be a smart al but, your right about finding it in Route205 but do the route 205 to the east of eterna forest. And you don't receive the radar after you beat the Elite4, you have to see all Pokemon in Sinnoh, and go back to SandGem Town and go in Professor Rowan's Lab. Once your done talking to Professor Rowan, Another Professor named Professor Oak will come in. Professor Rowan and Oak will chat for a long time to each other and you. After everyone's done talking, Professor Oakwill Give you a National PokeDex. Then he'll leave and Professor Rowan will give you a PokeRadar. Since you obtained the National PokeDex and the Radar go to Route205 East of Eterna Forest and do the rest of what the guy on the top said.

I got it first time on route 205 using pokeradar, that is WEST of ETERNA CITY.

Catch all the unknown in the Solacean ruins and go to the cave the guy keeps digging away and you'll find hippopotas. or you can go to route 226 or 227. There you can find a Hippopowdon . Put it with a Ditto in the daycare and after you get the egg , you will have one Level Hoppopotas. works 100%
