I think that in naruto shippuden episode 133, Pain killed Jiraiya-sama. And maybe in episode 134 or 136, naruto found out Jiraiya is dead. I am not so sure. Sasuke has not tried to kill Sakura in the Anime yet, Sasuke almost kills her in chapter 487 of the manga though, but Kakashi saves her. She is almost dead again in the same battle, but Naruto saves her the second time.
