Humphrey Bogart won one Oscar-a Best Actor- for his role in the movie 'The African Queen' in which he played Charlie Allnut in 1951. He was, however, nominated for the Best Actor Oscar for his role as Rick Blaine in the movie 'Casablanca' in 1943 which won Best Picture that year, and for his role as Lt. Cmdr. Philip Francis Queeg in the movie 'The Caine Mutiny' in 1954. I hope this is helpful to you!

Humphrey Bogart starred or co-starred in about 80 movies.

My personal favorites are 'The Treasure of Sierra Madre', 'The African Queen', and 'Beat the Devil'. If you haven't seen that last one, you've missed something.

Bogart and Bacall made four films together. Archival footage was used in another film, but they didn't make the film together.
