she knew that the careers had it rigged so if someone would try to steal it, a bomb would go off. so from a distance, she shot one of her arrows at a sack of apples, and the apple bag tore and one of the apples fell out, triggering the bomb, which destroyed all the food and supplies.
I assume you're referring to the Career's supplies at the Cornucopia in the first book.
Katniss uses her Archery skills to shoot bows at a suspended sack of apples. By doing this, she opens a hole in the bag and the apples tumble to the ground, triggering the land mines that had been placed there for the start of the games.
katniss saw fox face grab some apples out of a hanging burlap bag, and other food from the careers base. after realizing that the base was mined, she gave herself three arrows to finish the job, and shot one into the bag, creating a tear, another to widen the tear, and one to rip the burlap of the hanging sack back, spilling all of the apples and setting off the pressure-activated mines. this blew up the food.
well at this point in the movie, Katniss is allied with Rue.
Who is a small 12 year-old girl from district 11.
She is described as being underestimated.
She forms alliance with katniss after she warns her about the tracker jacker nest.
Rue trusts Katniss because of the pin she wears over her heart, the famous mocking jay pin.
With Katniss's hunting skills and Rue's ability to tell which plants are edible, they can easily provide food for themselves.
The careers who have been training themselves to fight not to hunt, can't.
By Katniss and rue blowing up their food, they are taking away the ability to sustain themselves in the games
Hope that helped :)
The Careers set up a booby trap around their food pyramids using bombs. So Katniss used her arrows to cut open an apple bag and just the apple landing on top of the area where the bombs were buried was just enough pressure to set them off
She used her bow and arrow
When they planned to blow up the food supplies, the advantage they had was that Rue and Katniss were from very poor districts where as the Career tributes have never missed a meal or been hungry before in their life. And if the food supply is suddenly eliminated, it makes the Games end a little bit faster.
They dry up the nearby water supply.
The protagonist in Catching Fire is Katniss Everdeen. In this novel, Katniss is 17 years old, and she has been in the Hunger Games, and now the Quarter Quell. She is still Peeta's girlfriend, and she lives with her mother, Prim, and Prim's cat, Buttercup. She still goes hunting with Gale, but it is not the same now that she has all of the money, shelter, and food supply's that she needs. She is from District 12, and she is 5 foot 7 inches. She is the protagonist in The Hunger Games, Catching Fire, and Mockingjay, the three books in the trilogy.
Rue dies very tragically in the Hunger Games. She is killed by the boy tribute from District One, Marvel. He traps her in a net and spears her through her stomach. Katniss kills the boy immediately in revenge. She thens sings to Rue until she dies and then weaves her hair with flowers. If you want to know the exact page numbers, it is page 232-237. It is very tragic and sad.
Katniss realizes that a boy from possibly district 3 has set bombs from the beginning f the actual hunger games around the supplies the careers are using and Katniss shoots her arrows at a bag of apples triggering the bombs and blowing up all the supplies. unfortuneately this makes katniss unable to hea out of her right ear. when the careers return Cato gets angry and kills the boy from district 3 by breaking his neck then has a child-like tantrum

One of the minor climaxes is when Katniss is blowing up the Career tributes entire food supply. Another one is when Rue gets killed and Katniss shoots the boy from District 3 with and arrow and kills him.
in the book you read it says district 1,2,4 are usually the career's. The tributes who are Careers in the Hunger Games are Glimmer, Marvel, Cato, Clove, and the girl from District 4. Later on, they add Peeta and the boy from District 3.
no, one died in the bloodbath in the beginning and thresh killed another at the end. Better Anwser: No, Katniss sent the tracker jacker nest down on all the careers and only ended up killing Glimmer and the girl from District Two. Then she killed Marvel by sending an arrow into his neck because he killed Rue and then she shot Cato to put him out of his misery from the mutts that were practically eating him alive. But she did not kill Clove. Thresh killed her at the feast by smashing a bolder into her skull when she was harassing Katniss. And he helped Katniss because she helped Rue. Also, the boy from District Three was considered a career too because he set up the mines around their food supply and kept watch while the careers were out. Katniss did not kill him. Cato did by snapping his neck after Katniss managed to blow up their food supply while he was suppose to be on watch.
she knows he has to be near a water supply. the fact that peeta is badly wounded
They dry up the nearby water supply.
1. How do supply and demand affect choices?
The motherboard could be damaged if the power supply released a surge of electricity during the destruction.

The feast at the Cornucopia, while dangerous, could supply each team district with a much needed supply. At the Cornucopia, there was a backpack with each remaining district number on it. In District 12's was the medicine needed to heal Peeta's leg, which is why Katniss wanted to go to the Feast.
the astronauts load the rubbish into empty supply ships, send them into the atmosphere, and destroy them.
