The protagonist in Catching Fire is Katniss Everdeen. In this novel, Katniss is 17 years old, and she has been in the Hunger Games, and now the Quarter Quell. She is still Peeta's girlfriend, and she lives with her mother, Prim, and Prim's cat, Buttercup. She still goes hunting with Gale, but it is not the same now that she has all of the money, shelter, and food supply's that she needs. She is from District 12, and she is 5 foot 7 inches. She is the protagonist in The Hunger Games, Catching Fire, and Mockingjay, the three books in the trilogy.
