The Formula One cars of the 60's. Modern Formula One cars can pull 5 to 6 G's at speed.
The current Goodrich advertisement is a bit of BS. Their tires don't compare to the DOT Michelin Pilot Sports Cup Tires as used on the Porsche GT2.
The BFG commercial is not BS....I have them on my BMW 540 and have pulled 1.7Gs at NJMP with them.....Dont knock em till ya try em!
The DOT Pilot sports are NOT designed for road use! Yes they are DOT Approved but if you used them on a street they would either A: Get a Massive puncture due to the softness...B: wear in about 400 miles...They are "Cup Tires" Designed to be used with those cars...
gForce Super Sport A/S (All-Season) are the tires shown in the ads according to their press release, so it must be the first All-Season tire to pull 1g as they are generally bad performers and many other brands top-tier rubber can pull over 1g
1g is not the same as 1st gen. there's no 1g ipods.
