Pay someone, would be my advise. You pretty much have to pull most of the dash out. It is up under there, kind of behind the radio, which has to come out, along with the glove box, and I think the radio speakers, too. You pretty much have to work, standing on your head, with a flashlight in your mouth. Having said all of that, companies like Danchuk, and Year 1, will have actual diagrams, as well as the parts you will need, often. I think they make an electric upgrade kit, for the tri 5 Chevies. The original vaccuum system is not very good, and, requires attention, often. Unless this some rare convertible, or a concours type restoration, the electric upgrade will on increase the value of the car, and is a safety issue to consider, depending upon where you live.
