However, in the "Before and After" episode, Meridith told Sadie that they were no longer 25, sleeping their way through Europe anymore. Considering med school application cycle takes at least a year in the US, and the med school takes 4 years to complete, Meridith would have been at least 31 when she started the internship. Also, when her dad left, Meredith was 5 and Thatcher was said to be only eventually remarried (The Other Side of This Life: Part 1). Lexie is 24 when she started the internship, which also suggests, Meredith was at least 30 when she was an intern.

It's bugging me because it's the only one I missed. I am trying to find out how George dies but can't really find a definite answer. However, I do know for a fact that only George dies and Izzy is still on the shows. I have read on msn, yahoo, people and in all the mags (people, tv guide) etc that George is the only one that dies and leaves the show. By the way does Meredith and Derek ever get married? I am trying to get caught up on the reruns every Thursday but they always show the same ones I have seen. George dies, Izzy lives.
