Hi, I would pretend that you're completely over him and not go with either of them. It would be very predictable to go with his best friend if he's just rejected you and it would show that your still not over him. Even if you were to go with his best friend in the end, his best friend would realise your still not over the guy and it would cause trouble for everyone. I think the best thing to do would be to just wait until someone else you like comes along and until then, you just wait for the guy to come to his senses and ask you out.
