Can a guy pretend to be jealous and show off to you whenever you talk to any of your guy friends?
Erm im going to answer this question with another one. Why would you pretend to be jealous? If you really like this girl, im assuming its a girl i could be wrong, you wouldn't need to pretend to be jealous. And you don't need to show off, she'll like you for you not who you pretend to be.

You can tell very easily. If he keeps on sliding his glance toward you, but not in a happy way, he may be jealous. If he has a "little talk" with one of the guys you talked to, it might be jealousy. However, if he is staring at one of the guys you're chatting with and two minutes later, he goes to play basketball with him, he may just be mad at you for occupying his friend's time. Pretend jealousy if often playful and you can usually easily tell the difference between geniune jealousy and pretend jealousy. However, if you sense that he's often cold with you after you've talked to other guys, don't push the limit or you guys might break up, because if you haven't noticed, guys are often territorial with their girlfriends. If you aren't dating yet but you like him, you're allowed to talk to other guys, but just don't be too friendly or you might heat up your potential guy. Of course guys can get jealous just how you can get jealous.When a girl is dating a guy and she starts flirting with this guy they are talking to he will get jealous don't you think. They also get jealous when you intimidate them by being smarter,taller better looking, and e.t.c.Its not that the guy is jealous its just he wants to be with you but every guys you talk to or hang out with is in the way of you guys being together. Why not just ask him why is he jealous or just ask him out see what he says.
