For children it's a bit more important because by getting it they get used to follow a healthy feeding during their life. However, the term "children" involves since babies to pre-puberty kids, and the diet may be somewhat different for them, from the youngest to oldest. Babies from 6 months to 2/3 years need a special diet, which is different for the other children
