Straight people do not understand why they feel the way they do, and they have been forced into silence for years. When people are not allowed to be themselves they do not know who do or does not feel the same as they do. It is like a guessing game, not intended to attack a straight guy. When we loose our rights to be who we are, we loose our ability to understand others. We have became so separated in America even a gay guy who seeks the knowledge of a straight guy because they feel uncomfortable with how they feel is turned down. This issue is splitting America apart, and some people do not understand why but they are choosing to accept it. The majority of gay people do not try to impose there feelings onto straight men. Marriage is a part of life and people try to define the nature of marriage as a woman and a man. We are learning that the rest of the world is evolving and failing to realize that even human beings are still evolving. Evolution is a factor of a constant. If we ever wish to resolve the issue we need to realize that we are all human beings. We all care about one common thing, and that is we all want to live in peace. We are all fighting for our right to express ourselves as being human beings. We are a world of multicultural. There is no reason to hate people as a whole group based on what one person did that you did not like. Some people hold grudges though because that 1 or even a few made them feel that all of them were the same way. In all logic not everyone is the same.

How could you consider yourself gay and a thug?

Being gay and being a thug are not mutually exclusive. Sexual preference has nothing to do with how big, mean, tough, macho, or strong someone is. Some of the toughest men are gay and some of the most effeminate "sissies" are heterosexual men. There are gay men in the military, gay men in militant groups, gay men in hate groups, etc. Even some hypothesize that Adolph Hitler was gay. To put up with some of the anti-gay hatred in the world, you would have to be quite strong. That is probably why there is a transsexual kick boxing champion in New Zealand. She was tired of being attacked and bullied over who she was and learned to fight back.
