It's very hard to date a Sheridan rifle. Let me explain. Sheridan started in 1945 and produced single shot air rifles. In 1977 Benjamin air rifle bought Sheridan and continued the line. In 1992 Crosman bought Benjamin. And again kept both names in manufacture. They decided to use Sheridan on the 20 caliber rifles and Benjamin on the .177 and .22 caliber rifles and air guns. At one point you could find both names on the rifles. In 1995 they came out with the C9 Silver streak model which later added the CB9 Blue streak model. there have been 4 different variations of the Blue streak. It's still made today. Crosman made some changes with their serial numbering system and I can't pinpoint your date of manufacture. See the links below
Sheridan made several C series rifles. I assume that you are asking about the C Silver Streak. Not the C9 Sliver Streak. In order to give you an estimate I need to know the condition of the rifle. Does it still work? Does it hold air. What condition is it in? All these determine the current value.
Ridan Products? do you mean SHERIDAN Products. What do you want to know. Also Sheridan made pellet rifles not pellet guns, and yes they are still produced today. What is your question?
Sheridan has somewhat of a murky past. The company started in 1945. The silver streak was made from 1949-1990. In 1972 Sheridan started serializing their air rifles, starting with #000000. in 1977 Benjamin air gun company bought out Sheridan. in 1992 Crosman bought out Benjamin. Today Crosman owns all three companies. So if your air rifles has a serial number, it was made after 1977. I found a list of serial numbers for Sheridan on the Crosman web site but they only go up to (#437801) that were made in 1985. So yours was made sometime after 1985.
First of all thank you for posting a question with all the information I need to answer it. Most questions just ask "How much is my air rifle worth." without any additional information. Your sliver streak, in excellent condition is worth around $190. A bit of history: Sheridan, Benjamin and Crosman at one time were three different companies. in the 1970's Benjamin bought out Sheridan and continued to market the Sheridan name on the .20 caliber rifles and the Benjamin name on the .177 & .22 caliber rifles. Later Crosman bought out Benjamin and now makes all three lines of air rifles. In 1972 Sheridan started serial numbering their air rifles. Today Crosman has that list. This is possibly the most frustrating airguns to nail down as to the exact model. First of all let me explain. Sheridan was a standalone company. In 1977 Benjamin purchased Sheridan. Some guns were called Benjamin/Sheridan, in 1992 Crosman purchased Benjamin and Sheridan. They decided to call the .177 and .22 caliber rifles "Benjamin" and the .20 caliber rifle "Sheridan." But for awhile they were called "Benjamin/Sheridan." So now we have the models C, C9, CB9, C9PB, Along with Blue Streak and Silver Streak. Not to be confused with the Crosman/Benjamin "Super Streak." (Confused enough) Okay here is what I think your value is according to the Bluebook of airguns 9th edition. in very good condition it is worth between $105 to $135
Sheridan did first make air rifles in the 1960s. ---------------------- New answer--------------------------- The above answer is total wrong. Sheridan started making air guns in 1945 and the first rifle was the model "A" made in 1947.
Crosman owns Sheridan and Benjamin air rifles. They offer a ring base for the Sheridan it's part # B272 and clamps right on the barrel of Sheridan and Benjamin rifles and pistols. You can order them through Crosman, Airgunsofarizona or Pyramydair. They cost about $14.00
You cannot age a sheridan air rifle with no serial number. ----------------------------------- New Answer------------------ The above answer is not entirely correct. Sheridan rifles did not carry serial numbers before 1972. So if yours has no number it was made before 1972. Also if you can find the model number, then that can identify the date range that model was made.
