In my opinion ,since I don't know exactly how your cycles run .I would say to look back to the last period you had and depending on how long it's been and your cycles(every other month ,3 timesa year),if it has been longer than it usually is between periods I would do 1 now. I hope this helps or at least gives you something to judge by. And remember to do it first thing in the morning.

With irregular periods you should test according to your longest cycle in recent months. If you are uncertain when your period is due or could be due, it is recommended to test at least 19 days from the day you think you became pregnant. If the result is negative you should test again in 3 days because you may have tested too early. Good luck.

Missing your period, for at least a couple of weeks, is the surest sign of pregnancy. Signs like oily hair or gas are caused by a variety of things, many not related to pregnancy. While your periods are irregular, you apparently do have them. So wait that couple of weeks past the point in which you would have got it at the latest, and take a home pregnancy test.
