Height Weight Chart are for Adults not for kids.

Paediatricians and other medical professionals use growth charts to monitor a child's development over time. These growth charts used to check on the growth of the kids are also referred to as the “road-to-health" chart.

A newborn male baby weighs typically between 3.3 to 3.4 kg (7pounds 8 ounces) and 50cm (19.8 Inches) in length. Until they are three months old, the majority of newborns will acquire an ounce each day. Take a look at the Weight and Growth chart for a better understanding.

This would depend on the age of your child. All children should ride rear-facing in back seats until they are 2 years of age or until they reach the height and weight limit of their child restraints. When children reach the height and weight limits of their infant seats, they should be moved to convertible seats, but should continue to ride rear-facing for as long as possible. However, when your child reaches the rear-facing height and weight limit of their child restraint, they should be turned forward-facing in a convertible or another forward-facing child restraint.

How much does the average kindergarten kid weigh?

When a child enters kindergarten, he or she will typically be 40 inches tall and 39 to 41 pounds. There is, of course, variance, but in the first six years of schooling boys and girls are more alike than different in terms of averages. When reading a growth chart look for consistency. If your child is in the 70th percentile for weight, meaning she is heavier than 70 percent of her peers, look to where she measures on the height scale. It is normal for a child to stay within their percentiles for height and weight. There should not be more than a 10 percent variance in height and weight percentiles. In other words, if your child is in the 70th percentile for weight, her height should fall in the 60th to 80th percentile. Upon exiting elementary school, most children will be 52 inches and 77 to 79 pounds.

What age should you place a child in a approved child seat?

Are fat babies healthier than thin babies?

No. There is a chart to map the Weight, Height with the Age of the child. This is usually printed on the back of the Child Immunization Record Card. Too much fat is obesity and that is also bad. Such children when grown up will have more health problems than those who are within the right weight/height for the age.
