The cyclic rate of fire of the M16 assault rifle is 700-950 rounds per minute.
An assault rifle is a rifle that has more than 22'' inches of barrel and has selective firing rate, while the carbine rifle has a less 22'' inches barrel and semi automatic. ^^ Wrong.. An assault rifle is any select fire rifle that is chambered for an intermediate cartridge... Barrel length has nothing to do with it. The M16 has a 20" barrel length and is considered an assault rifle. The AK47 has a 16" barrel and is considered an assault rifle... Carbines that are select fire and chambered in an intermediate cartridge are still considered assault rifles.
The most powerful fully automatic assault rifle is the AK-47, but it is sometimes downgraded because of its low accuracy and slow fire rate. The most powerful burst fire assault rifle is the M16A4, it has good accuracy, high power and a high fire rate, however, it is a 3-round burst similar to the FAMAS, which is why it is sometimes downgraded. The SCAR-H is a powerful gun with high accuracy and range, but a debilitating slow fire rate. The TAR-21 is a powerful gun with mid-high damage and range, but a middling fire rate. The FAL is a very powerful weapon with a high accuracy and range, but a disappointing single-fire rate makes it not the best gun. The F2000 has a high fire rate and range, but is weak in both accuracy and fire power. The FAMAS is a very accurate and fast firing weapon but is low in damage. In my opinion, the M4A1 Carbine is the "best" fully automatic assault rifle in Modern Warfare 2, with its high accuracy, range and fire rate, with the addition of the Stopping Power Pro Perk, it is quite a powerful weapon. While the M16A4 is definitely the "best" 3-round burst fire assault rifle in the game. I hope this post has helped your decision.
The M16 assault rifle has a cyclic rate of fire of 700-950 rounds per minute, and 45-60 rounds per minute in semi-automatic fire.
AK-47 is an assault rifle with larger rounds, excellent range, medium firing rate and fairly accurate; the AK-74u is an SMG (sub machine gun) that is really a smaller version of the AK-74 assault rifle, and has a high to medium fire rate, adequate range, and usually not used for accuracy.
The assault riffle with the best accuracy and a great fire rate. But it is in the low damage group of assault riffle.
Neither: They both serve their own purpose. You would not use either one to do the others purpose.A sniper rifle is used to engage long range targets at a very low rate of fire, Commonly used to eliminate very specific targets with a very small window of oppurtunity that a rifleman can not take advantage of due to distance and the fact that a HVI (high value individual) is usually aware of ground forces in the area, giving the HVI time to escape. On the other hand a snipers main goal is to remain undetected, making the job possible. An assault rifle is used to engage targets at a close, to medium range with a 'get your head down' rate of fire, as well as to give suppressive fire for support (though a light-machine gun is used for this). What the assault rifle can do that a sniper rifle cannot quickly clear rooms, sweep the rooftops quickly, or lay down fast suppressive fire in a split second when needed.BUT..Usually a man with a sniper usually has a light weight assault rifleon his back for a need of fire fights.Or at least has a small team that has a large amount of fire power toimprove the Sniper teams survivability.
well, don't get the shotgun the magnum is powerful, but a low rate of fire, and green zombies are too fast no pistols i would recommend the SMG or the assault rifle. (probably SMG)
it depends on the materiel and atmosphere quality
for the fact that it has a rapid, concentrated and controlled rate of fire
10-15 rounds a minute.
The Gewehr 1898 rifle was a manually operated weapon and the rate of fire depended upon the rifleman's own ability to operate the mechanism.
