ok, so telling someone you love them is huge! its basically like telling someone you want to be with them forever! he may just be feeling after shock maybe he's scared if you don't feel the same way, or he's busy planning something big like a proposal of marriage! or he's stuck and dosent know what to do next! if i where you i would be expecting something big! Have you attempted to call him, and he still hasn't returned your calls at all? Outside of an emergency popping up, he's broken up with you the easiest way he can without having to come clean with you or deal with your feelings about it. It sounds like he was caught up in infatuation, more driven by passion that you feel when you are first with someone, than by any real love--this is normal in the early months of a relationship. It sounds like his passion and infatuation started to cool and he simply backed out of a relationship that he didn't want to be in anymore. Trust his actions towards you over his words. Just because someone says they "love" you does not mean they truly are in love with you, especially if you've only been dating for one month. Consider yourself lucky that he ended things early, as soon as he knew he didn't want this with you and didn't allow you to build false hope in him.
