This depends on a couple of situations. If you are a guy and starting to wonder how you are going to figure out if a girl likes you...then you will notice that you and the girl are making a lot of eye to eye contact. Pretty soon the eyes will start to show some wrinkly smile lines and hopefully on this day you will decide to speak..or she will...and then a friendship begins.

If you are being pestered on the playground..like girls are chasing you and even doing things to trick you...this is also considered flirting. Sometimes girls flirt because they want you to join their games. Getting to know one girl in this type of group situation better than any other girl in the situation...usually signals an increased sense of interest on one or both people's parts. You can decide whether to play or not and whether to get more involved with one girl.

Some girls think they have had 3 boyfriends in a week...and when asked about it, the entire "relationships" were based on conversations at the locker room, talking at the bus stand and eating lunch next to the boy for TWO DAYS.

Girls also bat their eyelashes and blush...and if they really like you they will give you huge smiles and bake you cookies and invite you to meet their parent(s).

It is very interesting how people define relationships and how they are formed. I hope you will always have respectful relationships...ones that respect you and that you respect.
