There are well over 100 different model air gun and rifles. Each one is capable of a different distance. Several different factors come into play. The weight of the pellet and the type of power plant the air gun uses. Manufactures never give a definite range for their air guns, they just say over 100 yards or something like that.
Not anywhere in the US that I am aware of. Do understand that an air rifle, from a certain distance, looks like any other rifle so don't point it at cops or they will shoot you.
@ 3 miles
Yes
the beam rifle can fire the same distance as the UNSC sniper rifle.
It depends on the power of the air rifle, Local laws and the location where you live.
No.
It all depends on the rifle, pellet and power source.
Depends on the rifle. Accurately? About 50 yards max.
Depends on where the backyard is located.
yes
Whether or not an air rifle is more powerful than a cross bow depends on the air rifle or cross bow. Generally a hunter's cross bow is more powerful than a child's bb gun. However, during the Napoleonic Wars, the Austrians had an extremely powerful repeating air rifle. It could shoot several hundred meters. Austrian solders armed with them could shoot Napoleon's solders from such a great distance that Napoleon's solders could do nothing about it. Eventually they ran out of bullets.
yes, if you are in space at the time and have an air rifle, you shoot it out the window, you die because of the vacuum, but it is successful. you killed yourself but got a BB pellet into space. WEAR a helmet next time.
