I've been on trileptal for over 5 years and recently returned to using thc also. So far the effects have been pleasant yet intense. I've not smoked any pot in about 10 years and recently gave up drinking alcohol. Since starting to smoke small amounts of pot I feel more inclined to listen to what my body is telling me... Eating healthier, going to sleep earlier, and giving up cigs and booze... Allthough, I feel that everyone has their own perception of life and physical/chemical brain construction... Therefor I will not recommend to anyone to smoke pot. This is a choice I have made and the outcome has caused me to feel more centered and relaxed... Smoking pot has caused me to feel anxious and nervous in the past, hence the 10 year break from smoking... I'm now 36 and found a good med combo... I also take .5 mg of Ativan when needed... I hope only the best for all of you and will say if you are going to experiment with this drug combination please be around someone you trust if you have a mood disorder as I do.
