a speed bar or a light weight A bar . the idea is that if it i slighter it will move faster , all point less because a liner has a var small gap of say 2mm and a thick rear spring . the spring has allot of tension an da small distance to travel so it doesnt matter if the armature is 3 grams one way or the other it wont effect anything .
The difference between the two machines is the gap of tension in regards to the armature bar to the frame as well the gap between the contact screw to the spring. For a liner, you will want there to be more tension with the bar and a little bit of give with the spring. For a shader, you will want there to be less tension with the bar and more with the spring. The age old reference tool for this in regards to the proper amount of gap between the screw and the spring is; the width of a nickel for a liner, and the width of a dime for a shader. With this said, this is not a universal reference and all machines have the potential to be different. It all comes down to the type of metal that your frame is made of, the type of metal your armature bar is made of, the quality of your coil wrappings, the electrical integrity of your power supply, etc., etc. You get what you pay for with tattoo equipment, and nowhere is this more relevant than with your machines, ink, needles and your power supply so don't be cheap when it comes to buying supplies.
Until you have the skill to use a liner for coloring I would suggest you keep to the shader for coloring, you can dig holes in your client with a liner and that would not be a good idea. When using a shader for coloring use small circles to fill in the areas you want to color, ensure you have good skin tension and don't rush.
For the love of God...NO! If it is not tattoo "ink", which is a misnomer...it isn't actual ink, but pigment that as more akin to paint, but IS NOT PAINT, and you cannot use that either. The only thing other than actual tattoo ink that one can use would be India Ink, but this gives you poor results. Get real ink, and have a real artist do it.
You will want to set up no less than 3 machines for a portrait, but 4 would be better. You will set up a liner with a 3RL needle, and this will be used VERY little. The downfall to many portraits is the use of too many hard lines, thereby making it look like a cartoon and not a photograph. You will use this liner for details such as eyelashes, hair strands, pores, etc. Next, you will set up a shader with fairly long stroke with an 18RS and this will be used for the majority of the smaller areas of shading and you'll do a lot of your sculpting with it. Next, set up a shader with long stroke with around a 15CM - 25CM, and you will use this for the majority of the large areas of fill and I find that they work well for backgrounds as well. In addition to this set up, I often use a liner with a 7RL for highlights and other small things. When doing black and gray portraits, you build from dark to light, and with color you build from light, to dark, and then back into light. Always remember to have a background to contrast the subject which should be lighter and a bit blurrier than the subject of the piece, thereby making the contrast all the more significant and adds to the three dimensional quality to the piece. And always, always, ALWAYS remeber your light source. This can literally make or break a good portrait.
Absolutely you can shade with black liner ink. There are multiple companies that make a shading solution which is essentially sterile water, witch hazel and isopropyl alcohol. These solutions are used to efficiently dillute the black ink into a lighter type of grey wash. this can also be achieved by a cup of water and a drop or two of isopropyl alcohol added to your ink cap holding the black ink, of course the cup of water doesnt get added to the ink cap but by regularly dipping back and forth from cup to capthe same result is achieved. Althogh its essentially the samehower un economical when most grey wash actually cost less than a bottle of black ink for the same results. I suppose it is up to the artist on which of these methods he/she actually prefers.

Many factors might affect a person's decision for a tattoo machine. For example, the cost, the quality, the brand, and the shape should be taken into consideration. There are many kinds of tattoo machines such as the liner machine, the shader machine and so on.
They are for fine lines and detail that's in the tattoo you can also use this needle to do awhole tattoo for lines and shading without changing needles
22uf
Premium Irons cut back, never had any better then that liner in more then 12 years tattooing
07 needle grouping Round Liner so now its not a shading needle
The benefits of getting your regular eyebrows replaced with tattoo eyebrows include the consistent look from day to day and not having to draw in the eye liner every morning.
Most tattoo power supplys operate from 12.5 to 14 volts, there is no perfect voltage for all tattoo mechines, each artist uses what makes them comfortable, as a general rule shaders use less than a liner. All power supplys are adjustable , and with such a large selection of different brands of mechines, and coils, no single voltage will work for all artist.
Do u mean what is a 3 round liner tattoo needle used for? The 3 represents how many needles total, and round means they are arranged in a circle as opposed to lined up beside one another, liner means it is used for making lines. A 3RL is most commonly used for tattooing very fine lines in small or very detailed tattoos or lettering.
Semen may appear fluorescent white or light yellow under a black light on a panty liner. The proteins in semen can react under ultraviolet light, causing it to fluoresce.
