Winchester's of this caliber have more collectible value than the other calibers chambered for this model. Yours is also an early one, an 1899 vintage per your ser. no. based on most accepted publications though a search of the Winchester Museum records would probably indicate a post 1899 manufactured date. Whether it's a carbine or rifle is a big factor to it's value, but the major determining issue is condition AND configuration. You'll need to describe exactly how much of the original finish remains, on all the wooden & metal parts, any pitting or corrosion, chips or cracks in the wood and describe that as an approximate percentage, ie: approximately 50% of original finish remains and the wooden stocks have normal wear & tear bumps & dings but no cracks or chips or missing pieces.
