I don't have one but I have friends who do. They have other piercings as well and their helix piercings are the most painful for them. But some of them say that the actual piercing isn't as painful as the swelling afterwards. Any cartilage piercing just takes longer to heal and stays cranky for a while. I have my tragus pierced and it really wasnt that bad.
One can purchase helix piercing services in Toronto at the Entertainment District and New Tribe Piercing and Tattooing. A helix piercing is a piercing located near the top of the ear.
A helix piercing is a type of cartilage piercing but its the specific name for when you get the top of your cartilage pierced. I'll try to attach a picture of what a helix piercing tends to look like. A cartilage piercing is more of a general term that could refer to any of the many cartilaginous areas of your ear being pierced.
I should think that ear piercing is the least painful
Helix or Vertical Helix, down further on the ear rim it's a Scapha piercing, closer to the front of the face on the ear rim it's a Helix root piercing.

Well that is a discussion you need to have with your professional body piercer. Not being able to see what you have to work with makes it difficult to see if the Helix piercing will work for you.
I've never seen that show and I only found one picture of her with an ear piercing and it was pretty small. Is it on the outer edge of her ear about halfway down? If so, that a helix piercing. A helix piercing is any piercing on the outer edge of your ear.
Once the piercing is 6 to 8 weeks old you can change it.
Its not bone mate! Its cartilage.
Yes.
You should be fine.
I took mine out for less than five minutes and it healed up! I don't recommend it, if it's painful now, it'll most likely be painful all the time unless you leave it alone. It's a difficult piercing. I had mine done over 1 month at the time and it still healed and was painful. Hope this helped somehow. But then again, not all piercings are the same. Best to ask a professional piercer.
