Menstruation is the body shedding the uterine lining. If an egg is fertilized, i.e. you're pregnant, you won't menstruate.
Just to elaborate on the previous posters answer...
- Although I do agree that it is extremely unlikely, women can-and-do, have "bleed-off" for the first month, and it has happened for even fewer women for the first 2 months during pregnancy... although as far as I know a "typical" period is beyond even "highly unlikely". It is more likely to be spotting or light bleeding for the first month of your pregnancy when you would normally be menstruating. If you are bleeding during pregnancy at ANY time, you should call the doctor immediately.
If you menstruate then you're not pregnant - it is possible to bleed while pregnant, but it is biologically impossible to menstruate while pregnant. The very earliest you can tell when you're pregnant or not is 3 weeks after you had sex, via pregnancy test.
No, clearly it's not possible for a woman to menstruate while pregnant.Menstruation is the process of the uterus lining shedding as a result of a woman not falling pregnant. A woman can bleed during pregnancy but she will not menstruate.
I had three period when I was pregnant with my first so it is possible but very rare! :-)
No, it is biologically impossible to menstruate while you are pregnant.
It's biologically impossible to menstruate while pregnant - although it is possible to bleed during pregnancy, this isn't that common and wouldn't be like menstruation. Thus if you fell pregnant it would have been after your last period.
i had mines while i was pregnant last year but i dont know if it could happen to anybody else
Yes, Menstruation can also occur while pregnant, unless if she has menstruation disabilities.
Getting pregnant is related to ovulation. Because a girl can ovulate before having her first period, it is possible to become pregnant before beginning to menstruate. Any time a girl has sex,she can potentially get pregnant.
No, it's biologically impossible for a woman to menstruate while she is pregnant - a woman will only menstruate if she doesn't get pregnant during the last cycle. A woman can bleed during pregnancy for various reasons but this is fairly rare, chances are if you're menstruating you're not pregnant.
You will not menstruate while pregnant. But there can be a large number of other reasons that blood flows from the vagina even while pregnant all of which require medical attention.
If you're menstruating then obviously you're not pregnant. It is biologically impossible to menstruate while you're pregnant, menstruation only occurs if you're not pregnant.
If you were pregnant then you wouldn't menstruate at all. Menstruation only occurs if there is no pregnancy, if you menstruate you're not pregnant.
