There is a .22 WRF, and a .22 WMR. WRF is Winchester Rimfire. Bigger than a ,22 Long Rifle, but shorter than a .22 WMR- Winchester Magnum Rimfire. If someone is using the term .22 MRF, it is an inaccurate term.
The .22 WRF uses a larger case, and has a slightly larger bullet diameter (.224, as opposed to .223). The .22 WRF uses a flat nosed slug, as well.

There are also centerfire cartridges with 22 in the name, such as .220 Swift, 22 PC, 22-250, but they have no relation to the other 22s.
