Yes, of course you can conceive - if you are ovulating then there is an egg to fertilize and your cycle is still long enough to allow implantation. You would aim to have sex between days 10-19 of your menstrual cycles when you are fertile, use FAM to track cycles and diaphragms to keep semen next to your cervix after sex. If you have any problems with conception then talk to your doctor for more help.

Yes of course, just have intercourse on days 15-17. I had 36 day cycles and got pregnant at the first attempt, and the second (with twins) three and a half years later.

Could it be implantation cramps yesterday and today if today is Apr 4 and sex was on Mar 24 27 30 and Apr 2 your cycle was on Mar 12 or is it more likely to you menstrual cramps?

Probably too late...Hi! You probably already know by now if you are pregnant. But if you are still trying here are some tips for you. Ovulation occurs approximately 14 days before your period starts - so you really need to know how long your normal cycle is. If you have a 28 day cycle, you will usually ovulate on day 14. With a 36 day cycle, ovulation will occur at day 22. The best time for intercourse is 24 hours before ovulation.Implantation cramps would usually occur about 10 days later - so about 3 or 4 days before your period is due. Therefore from your dates I really can't be sure. If you usually have a short cycle (24 days) it is most probably menstrual cramps. For a 28 day cycle, you could be on track for pregnancy!I hope all is well for you and good luck!

What is mean by variable life cycle?

Variable life cycle means that the life of a product is affected by the use of the product. A car, for example, that is driven over 500 miles per day every day, will have a shorter life than one driven a few miles each day.

What if your period started March 23 2010 when is your next period to occur?

For most girls it will start about a month later but it may start a bit later or earlier then that. When you are starting your periods your cycle may vary so it can be at different times. When you reach adulthood you will most probably settle into a regular pattern. If your period is more then 2 months late then you will have to go to your doctor straight away. In case you were wondering what a cycle is: A girl's cycle is counted from the first day of bleeding in one month to the first day of bleeding in the next month. So if a girl gets her period on January 8th and then again on February 2nd her cycle lasted 25 days. (from January 8th through february 1st)

What days can you get pregnant out of one month?

For every woman it is different. If you have a 28 day cycle then typically you ovulate (release an egg) 14 days after the first day of your cycle. Then, we assume that four days before to four days after THAT day are fertile days. That is when a woman can conceive.

Can you conceive on day 8 and 15 of a twenty six day cycle?

In order to know what day you can conceive, you will need to know what day you ovulate. Women ovulate at different times, with some cycles being the typical 28 day cycle (with the 1st day of your period being the 1st day of your new cycle), while others may have much longer or shorter cycles. They now sell ovulation predictor kits over the counter. This will tell you what day you ovulate. In a typical 28 day cycle, you will ovulate around day 14. For a 26 day cycle, you may ovulate earlier--or you may ovulate later. If you ovulate later, then trouble conceiving may be due to a too short luteal phase (the time after you ovulate till your period begins), and you will need to get your progesterone levels checked to see if they are adequate to sustain a pregnancy. But in a normal, healthy woman with no fertility issues, you would typically begin trying to conceive a couple days after menstruation stopped and until about day 18 (or if using an ovulation predictor kit, until the kit tells you that you have ovulated). These days would cover a typical potential fertile period in normal ovulating women (and includes some extra days, in case of late ovulation). By having sexual intercourse every other day or so during this period, you ensure that sperm is present at the time that the egg is released. This will optimize chances for pregnancy, if no other fertility problems are present.

Can you ovulate during a prolonged period?

Most women ovulate between day 12 and day 18 of their cycle.

Is it possible to get pregnant during periods?

Technically no, but it depends on when you ovulate - sperm can last in the uterus for up to 5 days, and if you ovulate very early in your cycle, then it is technically possible to fall pregnant. But highly unlikely. Average cycle is 28 days long, the first day of your period is the first day of your cycle, so if your period is 5 days long and you have sex on the last day of you period, the sperm can live until day 12 of your cycle. Most women with a 28-day cycle will ovulate on day 14 of their cycle, so you can see how it could be possible to fall pregnant during your period. You usually ovulate 14 days before the start of your new period.

Why do you add 2 weeks for gestation?

Its not like they just add 2 weeks, they measure from your last period and its 40 weeks from that. Most women have a 28 day (4 week) cycle and since you usually ovulate around the middle of your cycle and that's usually about the time you conceive, its like the basically add 2 weeks from when you probably conceived. So for purposes of counting, its sort of like your 2 weeeks pregnant when you conceive. seems crazy but that's how they do it.

What are the best days on a monthly cycle to conceive.?

What days are best to conceive depends on an individuals menstrual cycles - note a woman is only fertile for around nine days at most: ovulation and up to a week beforehand when there is fertile cervical mucus present. During a typical 28 day cycle a woman will ovulate on day 14 so may be fertile from day 7-16 of her menstrual cycle, but she'd need to use Fertility Awareness Method to determine exactly when she is fertile during her menstrual cycle.
