It is difficult to really lose a lot of weight in a single day. While it is possible to lose up to 3 lbs. in one day, usually it is not of actual weight. It could come from losing water weight, going to the bathroom, or not having heavy foods in the stomach to weight you down.

  • This depends on how much you weigh and what method of weight loss you use. For example, will you just use diet or will you use diet and exercise.
  • If you starve, a pound or two. If you diet or diet with exercise, a little less than a pound.
  • If you eat a healthy and no less than 1500 calories (use a BMR calculator to determine how many calories you burn a day just living not including exercise), take your BMR and cut out 500 calories no more, you will lose about 1-3 lbs a week...you shouldn't lose weight every day..that's too fast and when you stop losing weight everyday which you eventually will even if you starve yourself you will get discouraged and start eating again and gain weight which will happen if you starve yourself period...anyway 500 calories less than your BMR plus at minimum 30 mins a day or exercise (even if its just walking nothing major if you don't want to) and youll lose a steady 1-3 lbs a week...the first week or two you might lose a pound a day but that's normal it will slow down do give up when it does....lose weight slow and steady....you will have to stay on this healthy diet for the rest of your life though, that's important go back to eating alot...don't list foods as 'good' or 'bad' all foods are good in moderation..don't deprive yourself...don't exercise more than 7 hours a week you will be too hungry and sick..There is no secret to weight loss it's simple burn more calories than you take in burn about 3500 calories a week more than you take in and you will for sure lose 1 lb of body fat...water weight loss is no good as your losing muscle and bone...keep track of your BMI don't weigh yourself more than once a week if your female a weight fluctuation of 1-5 lbs a day is normal its just water weight and the weight of your food don't get discouraged weight might plateau if this happens increase exercise by 15 mins a day until you start losing again..don't eat less just exercise more.
