Same as getting the first lobe piercing done. It varies from person to person but generally, lobes aren't too bad :)

How long does it take for the swelling to go down on a dimple piercing?

For the basic oral piercings, ie. lip piercing, monroe, labret etc etc; the swelling begins to go down after a few days. Since the cartilage for a dimple piercing is much thicker than that of a lip piercing, the swelling will take a little bit longer to go down. Usually 3-10 days before the swelling begins to go down, depending on how much you play with the jewelery, irritate the piercing, and even how you clean it can all alter the amount of time your piercing is swollen for!

How do you peirce your ear?

You go to a professional. Piercing yourself is a bad idea unless you are a professional piercer. You can't sterilize the jewelry or tools without an autoclave which I doubt you have. If you were to actually create a sanitary room and get your tools/jewelry autoclaved it would cost more than going to a pro. If its about money, save up and go to a pro. Otherwise, its a bad idea to put your health at risk just to save a few bucks. Piercing yourself will be much more painful and risky.

Why does a nose piercing sink in the hole?

The weight of the ring will make it sink in a bit over time, but it really shouldn't sink much. Clean it every day to keep it healthy! I just got mine pierced on Saturday Night and its already sunk into my nose to the point where I can pass my finger over the spot and not even feel that it was there. I called my piercer and he told me that mostly likely there was a small amount of soap left in the piercing when I cleaned it. This can cause the hole to swell and in turn cause the piercing to sink b/c of the expansion of the hole. If this happens you should immediately go see the person who did it if you cannot right away, some good home remedies are taking cotton balls and soaking them in a solution of sea salt and purified water and then putting one up your nose to soak the piercing from the inside and putting another on the outside. This should help the healing. You can also take aspirin or ibuprofen to help with the swelling.

How do they pierce your ear at La Lobe?

Usually they take what is called a piercing gun and they will clean the ear, then mark where you want it, if it is satisfactory they will place a piercing in the gun put it on you're ear and pull the trigger. It doesn't hurt much more than a hard pinch, but remember the higher you're piercing is the more it will hurt.

Does it hurt when you get your cartilage pierced?

It really doesn't hurt very bad. But when its pierced you will hear a good "pop" or "crunch" sound (which most piercing junkies like myself think is funny) My advice though is to make sure to have it pierced in a tattoo or piercing parlor which uses one use sterilized needles NOT a piercing gun. It will hurt less and heal much, much better. What most shops that use piercing guns probably wont tell you is that the gun is actually not intended for any piercing other than lower lobe.

How much will your cartilage piercing hurt?

It doesn't hurt when you get it pierced but it does after. It feels sore when you touch around the area where you got it pierced. It should go away in about a month, but just make sure you don't sleep on the side your piercing is on. That can make it hurt more. Make sure you clean it 2 times a day for about 6-8 weeks and make sure you twist the ear ring when you clean it.

Does getting your belly pireced hurt?

Do you want it to hurt? No you don't so that in mind be it a navel piercing or a labret piercing or an eyebrow piercing, all of these in the hands of an experienced professional body piercer are simple and almost painless. I won't say they won't hurt for a moment, let's be realistic here for a second and realize that we are poking a hole in a human body, sure it's going to be uncomfortable for a split second but that's it, a split second. If you want the piercing you need to belly up and getter' done, the piercing is quick simple and before you know it you have the piercing you have wanted for some time. The discomfort is only momentary. Helooo, im 14 years old and ive had my belly done for about 2 months now , and it did hurt for like 2 mins and then the pain jsut went. If you dont think about it and look at the ceiling or who ever comes in the room with you then you will feel a sharp pain and then its all over , you have got it over and done with. Depending on how much you feel pain and how much pain hurts you depends on how much you will feel it , a few of my freinds have had there belly for about a year and it dident really hurt them, but i think its because they dont feel pain as much as what i do. So theres my answer. Thank you :).
