Depends on how fast you want to lose it.. and if you're exercising or simply planning on cutting food/calories with no other alterations.

A pound = 3500 calories

With exercise, I'd suggest about 1800 calories a day. I'm betting you burn about 1500-1800 just existing (doing what you do every day), so anything extra burned off will be lost. You can cut that amount down if you want to lose it faster.

Without, I'd say about 1200-1500 calories a day. I've gone down to 500 calories a day, drinking calorie free tea and those 100 calorie snack packs, but it's NOT fun.. I didn't exercise at all, and was losing about 2-2.5 pounds a week.

DO NOT lose more than 2-2.5 pounds a week.. that is unhealthy and will actually slow your body's ability to lose weight, because it will go into conserve/starvation mode.

Drinking water and chewing (sugar free) mint gum helps a lot - mint represses hunger pains and water obviously fills your stomach. :)

Honestly, it doesn't sound like you need to lose any weight.. that's about the right BMI for your height. :)
