It doesn't really matter your age. Take your ideal weight ie 140 lbs. Times that by 100 =1,400. You should be consuming 1,400 calories per day to reach your ideal weight of 140. Or you can eat 1,500 and excersize to burn that extra 100 calories or eat 1,600 and burn 200 calories with excersize.
