For a female age 4-8 they recommend 1200 kcal

For a male age 4-8 they recommend 1400 kcal

For both, they recommend 2 cups milk/dairy, 4 oz. meat/beans, 1.5 cups fruit, 1 cup vegetables, 4 oz. whole grains.

This is taken from the American Heart Association website. You will obviously need to increase calories for an underweight child. And avoid processed foods in any growing child.
