Hey mate, its not how many calories you intake it is how much u excesses and how many calories you burn, stick to 2500 which is the GDA of a full grown man and do exercises .
i know what your thinking now..... how do i exercises at 18 stone?

my recommendation are go for walks to star with once 17 stone (238 lbs) pick up the pace and do speed walking.
while loosing weight i would recommend toning your body, grab a resistance band and do some exercises. once at your desired weight ( lets say 14 stone/196 lbs) hit the gym and do some weights.
this is not a quick process so you need Patience.
