∙ 2009-10-31 23:39:15As long as it takes. Not every piercing will close within moments of taking the jewellery out, there are other aspects that come into play. Length of time you had the piercing, the size of the jewellery, healing issues all these affect how fast a piercing will close. So as long as the jewellery is out the body will deal with it as it sees fit.
I have both of mine pierced, wasn't painful but sounded horrible and I had complications at all, it was easier to care for than my regular ear piercing. There is a risk of infection as with any other piercing. Tragus piercings are pretty safe. The only ting that I was afraid of was it being pierced too shallow. They can get aggravated when you use headphones or use the phone on that ear.If you want it sure. The only problems that I have with mine is that I couldn't wear headphones in that ear for a good 2 and a half weeks bc it would make it really sore. Get it on whicever ear you don't sleep on to make healing go easier.
You'll have to go into the piercing shop and ask them to look at it. Everyone is different so they'll have to decide.
depending on your pain threshold and where the piercing you're talking about is, the pain varies a lot. cartilidge hurts most, so that's your nose, the top half of your ear, and tragus/rook etc. normal flesh piercings like lobes don't hurt as much, they're more like a pinch (i'd say about a 3 on a scale of 1-10). lip piercings i would say are about a 4 out of 10. any other opinions for other piercings?
the dolphin malls close about half four on weekends and half five on weekdays
No, that's wrong. Cartilage takes about a year to heal completely. I had my rook done a month and a half ago and I changed it. And then it got infected:/ Kinda sad. Anyways, my rook also closed in about 10 minutes cause I had to take it out.
3-3 half months.
No. It's just barely half a year.
No. A year is 12 months, so 5 months and 27 days is a little less than half a year.

Depends on how old the piercing is. If it's less than at least six months then yes, it will close in a few hours, if it's over a year and a half old it's safe to remove for a while and if it's several years old you could probably leave it out for weeks at a time, but remember that everyone's body is different and thus it could close in a couple hours at four years old, or it could stay open for weeks with nothing in it at a year.
There are six months in one half of a year.
You should probably wait about 5 months after the piercing. It may vary depending how fast your body heals. When I got my Naval pierced, I was suppose to wait 8 months to change it. I only wait about 2 and a half. You might get away with 3 :p
In half a year there are 6 months. If you ment in one and a half years, then 18 months.
6 months = a half of a year
