No way to tell. It depends on how old it is and how your body heals. If you need to hide it, just flip the ring up or wear a barbell.

You should keep it in for as long as the dentist that fitted it advises.

A pierced belly closes quickly if you have not worn a ring consistently for about a year. If the hole closes, it may just be partially closed and it can be "punched" out again easily.
If it's over a year old you can get away with a few days before it starts becoming difficult to get the jewellery back in, but if you leave it too long and can't get the jewellery back in don't force it. Go see your local body piercer and have the piercing opened with an insertion taper to avoid damaging the tissue.
hr
It doesn't take long before a new tongue pierce hole closes because when you open and close your mouth your hole in you tongue just gets used to having nothing in it so i would say about 24 hours before it closes.
when its fully healed.. prolly round 8 months(:
If you just mean flipping up into your nose to hide it, you don't need to wait at all! Got mine done and flipped it that night to hide from my mom
You should keep utility bills for at least one year before shredding them.
