Well get the piercing and find out, everyone is different and pain is different to each person. What may hurt like hell for one may be a simple warm sensation to someone else.
Getting your ears pierced is no biggy, trust me when I first got mine pierced I didn't feel a thing. The lady used a gun piercing thing that pierced my ears fast. It is fast and easy you barley feel a thing : ) the faster it is the less pain you feel.
Well it depends on how long the piercing has been in place. If it's new and you had a change of heart, the piercing will close up within a few days of the jewellery being removed. However the hole in the cartilage itself will remain open for several months. Cartilage doesnt heal like skin and once it's pierced or damages it can take and extreamely long time to heal.
