Crust forming around your piercing is part of the healing process. Do not pick the crust off as it will reopen the wound.
Yes but it's better to reopen the close piercing with an insertion taper in the hands of an experienced professional body piercer.
yes, i have had mine pierced 3 times. no matter who you are or how well u clean it, it will always some what get infected tho.
Chances are very good that id the outside of the piercing is closed, the inside will have closed as well. Unless you have only had jewellery out of a new piercing for a few hours, the piercing can be opened by a professional body piercer us an insertion taper. This is designed to reopen piercings that have had the jewellery out for anywhere from a couple of hours to a couple of days.
The recommended time to leave a lip piercing in is 6-8 months. However, these are not usually fully healed until after a year. If you have left the piercing out for a short period of time, chances are the hole has not fully closed. If this is the case then with some effort you can get the ring back through your piercing. However, if you have left it out longer (say 2-3 months) there is a high chance that you will have to go back to your studio and have it re-pierced.
reopen
The past tense of reopen is reopened.
The thing i do is get some warm salt water and a cotton bud and press the water around you hole but while you have the earrings in. This way it helps get rid of soreness and less chance of infection.
That is the correct spelling of "reopened" (opened again).
