He had one or two guy friends in school but they were in his special Braniac classes and they hung out together since they were so brainy. They never let on they were gay. I knew they were but I kept my mouth shut until my brother announced his gayness in his early twenties. It is better to wait until you are older he told me. You can meet them in College where they have groups of them and you won't die waiting that long to live the open gay life. He managed to do it and you can to. I hope you know for sure what you are doing because it does have its dangers. My brother was assaulted for being a gay man in Portland, Oregon. So consider your options. You may not be gay but going through a teen fantasy deal. My brother said some guys go through that when they are really straight. So find a nice set of friends among things you like: sports, hobbies, learning, drama, singing (my brother is good at both of those), floral arranging, anything. We even went to church together and he did love Jesus. He knew the loving care and friendships at our church. It really helped him because being a braniac he struggled to make friends with all levels of smartness and friendliness.
