Depends on conditiion, conditiion, and condition. Also the Chrome 76's are scarce and can bring a LARGE premium. A chrome in mint condition can bring as much as 2,500!
No that is wrong, Chrome. The Apache Black 66 & 76 were made with Chrome barrel and receiver.
Yes, I have one that is Black on Black. They also made a bolt action, but not many of either. It's a Model 76.
The gun is worth $400 to $500 in that kind of shape. I have several and they are somewhat rare only about 22K made.
Remington Kellogg died on May 8, 1969 at the age of 76.
Remington never made a model 67, model 76 (lever?), Winchester?
Remington Kellogg was born on October 5, 1892 and died on May 8, 1969. Remington Kellogg would have been 76 years old at the time of death or 122 years old today.
Limited interchangeability.

Yes, Remington did produce the 6mm Sportsman 76, which is a variation of the Model 760 pump-action rifle. The 6mm caliber version was introduced in the 1970s, catering to hunters and sport shooters. This model is known for its versatility and was part of Remington's line of firearms designed for various game hunting.
Do not see a 543 in any of my references. Sorry-Sportsman is associated with the Remington centerfire rifles in Model 76, 760, and model 78.
