Okay ill be completely honest with you, I had mine done 2 days ago so its still fresh in my mind. Everyone told me it didnt hurt, even the guy who was peircing me told me it wouldn't hurt. But despite all that mine did hurt, only for about a minute though, and if you want it done id advice you to get it because they look really nice, make sure you go somewhere clean though its worth paying a few extra pounds for better quality and less chance of getting an infection from going sumwhere cheap. :)

tbh i peirced my lip with a safety pin 3 times and my ear, i tried to do my belly but found it too painful. if you peirced your own belly with a safety pin i would suggest to take it out because it could get infected, and also because a belly bar is about 2mm where as a safety pin is around 0.5mm then its going to be difficult and painfulk getting it through gatorlace------- i peirced my belly button with a safety pin, it does hurt a little but if you have high pain tolerence you can pull the pin to the left and make the hole bigger, i suggest doing it quickly till its big enough then take it out a dissinfect it, then put in an actual stud. i was stupid enough to research it AFTER i did it, lol yeah, it might be dangerous to do it at all.

I have a high pain tolerance with needles and I didn't think it hurt. You can feel it go all the way through though but it is not bad. It is definitely worth it too! Some places use numbing so if you are scared maybe you can find someone who will do numbing.

No. Piercing your belly button wont hurt as compared to piercing your tongue.

I will say yes because i have both now you have alot of nerves in both belly button and lip but the lip is much more fragile than the belly button any thing that pokes into it could hurt Alot worse than a belly button percisng^ It Actually Doesn't Hurt More Than Your Belly Button, I Have Both Done, And I'm Terrified Of Needles. Your Lip Just Feels A Bit Weirder, But Doesn't Hurt. :)
