There are only two oils I use on air guns that are in my collection . Crosman pellgun oil and RWS pellet gun oil. Any other oils can damage the O-rings and seals. Crosman and several other air gun companies state the even using even 3-in-one oil is not recommended.
ACTUALLY......
Yes you can use Rem Oil on your airgun. Rem Oil is one of the best in the Biz. The problem I have with it is it's both a cleaner, and a lube in one. I prefer to keep these two activities seperate. But It is very good for cleaning and beautifying your stock(wooden) as well as cleaning the outer parts. It's also a very good thing to spray the interior of the barrel if you will be staring the gun for long periods.
However, make sure you clean it well before firing it again.
I can only think of three oils to use on any airgun. Crosman pellgun oil, Gamo oil or RWS air gun oil. Never use anything else it can ruin the seals in the air gun.
NO never use any oil other than Crosman pellgun oil or RWS air gun oil. Other oils will slowly destroy the seals
With out a doubt yes.I use this or carb cleaner from cnc all the time to clean my many firearms. They take away the carbon build up with ease and then I follow with a good gun oil like rem oil.
First of all do not use any regular Oil and that includes 3-in-1 oil. Regular petroleum oil will eat the seals. You must use air gun oil like Crosman pellgun oil, RWS air gun oil or Gamo air gun oil. See the link below for the Owners manual. Read section "8: Maintaining your Airgun" When you open the link.
CLP and Rem Oil tend to be quite popular. If you'd rather have the convenience of an aerosol spray, I'd recommend Ballistol. Kano Kroil
This is a little hard to answer because you didn't state what type of air gun you are trying to oil. Is it a C02, Pump, Springer, Nitro or PCP air gun. But let me give some general rules. First NEVER use regular oil, it will eventually eat the seals. Only use air gun oil like Crosman Pellgun oil, RWS oil or other pellet gun oils. Regular oil is not good for airguns. Oil the moving parts but don't over oil them and make them sloppy. there are some excellent videos on air gun care on the web I suggest to take a look. See the link below.
I would use Crosman Pellgun oil. Or RWS air gun oil.
There is no such thing as an oil free pneumatic nail gun. Every nail gun requires oil every day you use it. In answer to your question, yes, you can use any nail gun with an oil lubricated compressor. The way the compressor gets it lubrication has nothing whatsoever to do with the tool you are using. The compressor is just supplying air to the tool.
The ONLY ones I would use are Crosman Pellgun Oil or RWS air gun oil. Any other oil will eat the seals on the airgun. Also put a drop of oil on the tip of the C02 cylinder when you install it. This will blow oil through out the firring system within the gun and lubricate it.
The Falcon 2 was made in Spain for Beeman between 1981-84. The only oil I use for any of my air guns or rifles are Crosmen Pellgun oil or RWA Pellet gun oil. Never use 3N1 or any other oil or it will start to ruin the seals, never use regular firearms cleaning solutions on an air gun or rifle they will also ruin the seals.
Whatever you do, dont use rem-oil, any other oil made for real firearms or aerosol sprays, they will eat away the o-rings and wear out the paintball gun. Use oil made for paintball guns or air tool oil. a paintball gun is essentially and air tool. the easiest way is to put 6 or so drops of oil into the place where you screw in the tank, then screw in the tank and fire a few shots. you dont need paint to do this. You should use only manufacturer-recommended lubricant for your gun. Your gun's owners manual should tell you how to lubricate the gun. If youdon't have it then youcan go to their website. The best paintball oil is Gold Cup oil and the best grease is Gold Cup Final Solution grease.
No, you should use only paintball specific of air tool lubricant.
