about the first week would be "extremely" dificult but after the swelling goes down they would never know you had it done! Unless ofcourse you start playing with it in front of them. Just know tho that little tongue ring will cause you alot of dental problems down the road. You will crack teeth and not even know it till later in life and then its a crown $800 each tooth. Not to mention your gums will start receeding and you could possibly lose a tooth or teeth and not have the option to crown them.
