Yes you can be pregnant. Anytime you have sex you can be pregnant. About two weeks after your period your ovulate. {varies for each woman}. Once you ovulate, if there is still sperm inside you {which lives from4-7days}, you have a chance of getting pregnant, that's if the sperm and egg meet up. About a week after that you may have implantation bleeding which is when the egg buries itself in the embryo, or you could just have an abnormal period due to stress or other factors.

Dogs don't have "periods", the enter into estrus when they are in season and there is some bleeding during that time. When they are ready to breed, the bleeding stops and then will start up again. Estrus lasts about 3 weeks about twice a year.

You aren't if you were 7 days late you would be around 5 weeks pregnant. The way an estimated due date works is you start from the first day of your last period. Unless you are 14 weeks pregnant and got your dates confused or had bleeding that you thought was a period but was something like implantation bleeding.
If you are 12 weeks pregnant, it is not implantation bleeding. Consult your doctor right away.
