First 6-7 weeks are acceptable, but 9... You must have very irregular periods or be under a lot of stress not to understand you're pregnant. There are other signs of pregnancy that women usually notice (besides the std missing period): breasts (they get VERY sensible), the well-known nausea, tiredness, will to stay in bed the entire day... Plus, women tend to get moody and very sensible to smells and tastes. They don't all happen at the same time of course, and they don't necessarily happen to all pregnant ladies, but I find it difficult that a women is 9 weeks pregnant and do not know it. Maybe there is a medical explanation for that, so I would strongly recommend you to go visit your doctor, ASAP. Good Luck.
