NO!!! There ARE some firearms that are made to fire both, but the standard .410 shotgun is not. You are trying to push a .45 caliber bullet through a .41 caliber barrel. This is extremely dangerous. Can it be done? Yes. How many times can it be done before you blow the gun up? No one knows THAT answer!

Can a 410 shot gun shoot any other rounds?

Typically, no. There are some .410 shotguns which can also fire one or more rimmed pistol cartridges (usually .45 Long Colt, but I've seen them for .41 Magnum and .44 Magnum, as well), but these are purpose built to be able to do this - it cannot be done in an ordinary .410 shotgun.

What caliber pistol can you load and shoot in a 410?

None. While there are firearms made to shoot .45 Colt AND .410 shotshells, they are designed and made to do that. A regular .410 shotgun is NOT made to do that safely.

Will a 45 Colt shoot a 410 shell?

No. While there ARE firearms made to fire both the .45 Colt and the .410 shotshell, they were made for that purpose. Never attempt to fire ammo that a firearm was not made to fire.

Can a 410 shotgun use a fouty-five caliber bullet safely?

No, is the short answer. The long answer is a little more complex. The .45 Colt and the .410 share similar base dimensions which make them interchangeable in certain firearms. Usually, however, you find .45 Colt/.410 shotgun combinations, meaning the firearm is designed to shoot .45 Colt, but will also accept .410 shot shells. The Taurus Judge, and Bond Derringer's Snake Slayer are two pistol examples. There are many variations, but the unifying factor is that these guns are designed to handle higher chamber and barrel pressures generated by the .45 Colt cartridge. The barrel of your typical .410 shotgun is very thin in comparison, and is designed to fire shotgun ammunition only. So, if the firearm is specifically designed for it, you can shoot .410 shotgun ammunition through a .45 Colt barrel. You cannot, nor should you attempt, to load a .45 Colt round into a .410 shotgun.

Will a marlin 450 revolver shoot 45 long colt and 410?

Nope. The .450 is a belted cartridge.

What shell will fit a 410 shotgun other then a 410 shell?

None. Some handguns have been made that will fire .45 Long Colt revolver rounds and .410 shotgun shells, but that does not mean that you can take any .410 shotgun and stick .45 handgun ammo in there.
