NO!!
No. Two entirely different cartridges.
DO NOT ATTEMPT TO DO THIS!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! DANGER, DANGER, DANGER!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! UNSAFE, UNSAFE, UNSAFE, UNSAFE
NO The ammunition must match the marking on the Barrel exactly. If you do it is an accident waiting to happen.
DO NOT DO THIS!!!! The OAL on the 7mm Mag is 2.5 inches and the 7mm Weatherby is 2.55 inches. SInce they headspace on the belt, and due to the freebore in the Weatherby, the 7mm Mag may chamber in the Weatherby. SAAMI lists the 7mm Mag/7mm Weatherby as an unsafe combination one will probably chamber in the other. DO NOT SHOOT UNLESS YOU ARE SURE YOU HAVE THE RIGHT AMMUNITION!!!!
The 7mm Remington Mag.cartridge is a long action cartridge. Its overall length is longer than 2.800in. Also a standard 7mm is long.
284
The 7mm Remingtonn is longer. The 30/06 has a larger projectile.
no!!!!!!!
Sako, and Remington are two different manufacturers.
Depends which 7mm your talking about. The only 7mm I know of that has a larger case capacity than the 300 wby mag is the 7mm Remington ultra mag or 7mm rum
The caliber of ammunition the rifle uses is usually roll-stamped on the right side of the barrel, just in front of the receiver. For example: if it says "7mm Remington (Rem.) magnum (mag.) you would need to buy that type of ammunition as sold by Remington, Federal or any of the other companies offering this type of ammo in whichever bullet weight you prefer to shoot.
