You do not have to buy songs from the iTunes store. You can use songs from any source and use the iTunes software to manage the music on your iPod. Some retailers, such as Amazon, provide their own download software which will automatically add songs from Amazon to the iTunes library. Songs can also be imported from CDs that you own.
Yes; iPods can be used like external flash drives.
If you've genuinely bought the songs from iTunes Store to your iPod, you should be able to transfer purchases without any problems, as long as you authorize your new computer with the same iTunes account that you bought your songs with. Yes you can, though you have to be careful you dont sync the songs on the new computer with the songs on your ipod or you could end up loosing music. Easiest way to do this is just create a new account on the computer and then get itunes going on that account and then use that account for uploading and downloading songs. Contact itunes if you have any problems, a few of my own mates had to contact itunes and they all said that the customer service is good so.. Hey isn't this awsome writing? Ya I know it is because im so sexy! !PEACE!
iTunes only seems to change song info of mp3 tracks. Converting your songs to AAC format will stop it happening. You do it by going to: edit > select all, then: advanced > convert selection to AAC. If you have a lot of songs, it takes quite a while, and you'll have to convert any new songs you add too. Hope it works for you
Yes there is We Made You from the Relapse album and Gone Again and Backstabber from the Recovery Mixtape
Upgrading from iTunes 10 to iTunes 11 will not remove any songs from your library.

To get songs onto an iPod nano, you have to have iTunes (you can download this at www.apple.com) . If you want songs from Media Player, open both programs on your computer, and drag the songs from Media Player into iTunes. Or, you can buy songs at iTunes too. Once you have iTunes, any songs you download on Limewire go automtically to iTunes. If this doesn't work, then again, drag the songs on Limewire into iTunes.
