Depends, if you want a deep, resonant tone, go for the Epiphone Les Paul Custom. If you want a good, hard rock sound to it go with an Epiphone Les Paul standard.
However both are good for rock and metal ect.
Steer well away of the -£300 bunch, they are very poor compared to the higher end models.
Epiphone Les Paul Custom £470
Epiphone Les Paul Standard £400

Really depends on the person. I find that Gibson's and Fender's do.
It's the original neck, but Gibson's got a couple lines of guitars they make to sell to places like Best Buy, and Genre is one of them. It will be better than a Chinese No Name guitar but not nearly as nice as a music store Gibson.
Les Paul guitars were first licensed and produced by the Gibson Guitar Co. - then of Kalamazoo Michigan. To this day nobody else can legally produce a "Les Paul" - they're going to be Gibson or Epiphone, Gibson's Asian-built brand. Other brands having the same general shape or features as a Les Paul will be called "Les Paul style" but will never legally carry the name "Les Paul".
Everyone is going to have a different answer to this question. It depends completely on the tone that you are going for. My personal answer to this question would be a Gibson Les Paul Custom. The neck is extremely playable and offers a deep and rich tone out of its humbucking pickups.
Hands down Leigh Guitars. Why?Over the years companies such as fender, gibson, ibanez, bc rich and charvel/jackson put out some nice guitars. I have played just about every guitar known to man because I own a music store. Overall the best guitars in the world come from a new company based in California. They are called LEIGH GUITARS. They are the best sounding and playing guitars I have ever played plus the beautiful tonewoods they hand select are amazing. Also the designs are incredible....oh the best part is the price is very affordable too. They are hard to get because the owner makes them one by one. If you can get one , you will be very pleased. I bought one for myself and one for my son and I can truly say they are the best investment I have ever made.
The best brands of guitars is the Gibson guitars or gb&a guitars.
For individuals with bigger hands, the best types of guitars are typically those with wider necks and longer scales, such as jumbo or dreadnought acoustic guitars, or electric guitars with wider neck profiles like some models of Gibson or Fender guitars. These types of guitars provide more space between the strings, making it easier for individuals with larger hands to play comfortably.

There is no "best" rock guitar but the two most famous rock guitars ever and most likely the most succsesful are the Fender Stratocaster and the Gibson Les Paul.
Les Paul did in the 1940s , he approached Gibson with the concept and they weren't impressed until around 1947 when they hired him. Les is also the creator of neckthrough guitars which to this day provide the best sustain in guitars.
Really depends on the person. I find that Gibson's and Fender's do.
This is an opinionated question but my opinion is that the top model of a Gibson Jazz Bass is the best
