It will vary based on humidity, your activity and how you stay cool. If you are thirsty, you are dehydrated. You should stay hydrated. That means you should need to go to the bathroom on a regular basis and that your urine stream should be fairly clear. If you find yourself not going very often, or having a dark yellow stream, you should definitely drink more water. Headaches are another sign of dehydration. Avoid too much caffeine and alcohol.
