people need between 8 to 11 hours of sleep depending on their age and health. For example; a teenager needs a minimum of 9 hours of sleep a night while an adult only needs between 7 to 9. The more sleep a person gets, the better it is for their well being.

A person with fibromyalgia needs as much sleep as anyone else. Eight hours of restful sleep a night is desirable. The problem is that fibromyalgia interferes with the ability to sleep if the person can sleep at all. Insomnia and pain keep the person with fibromyalgia awake during the night. That results in a general feeling of fatigue that lingers throughout the day.
That depends on your age. While infants should sleep between 18 and 14 hours a day, toddlers need 12. Children under the age of 18 need about 10, and adults need about8. Once you hit 65, though, you will only need about6.
